The
grooming of a Komondor is no easy task, some people may think as they
do not require brushing, they do not require grooming - how wrong they
are!
Here
we are going to try and explain the basic principles of grooming, however
there is no substitute for seeing it done by a person used to grooming
a corded coat.
|
Grooming
consists of separating the coat into cords, removing debris (twigs,
grass seeds, various bits of the countryside, the occasional slug.....
anything and everything can get caught up in the coat), and bathing.
